Center of International Relations

General Information
International cooperation of KNEU is achieved by the Center of International Relations (CIR), the coordinating, scientific, methodological and administrative unit of the university. The Center is in charge of the organization and maintenance of international relations in the field of business training. The Center’s primary aim is to provide effective multifaceted cooperation with the higher educational establishments of foreign countries.
The foundational year of the Center is 1998.

The Center consists of:
-  Department of visa registration and control;
-  Department of English-speaking countries;
-  Department of German-speaking and French-speaking countries.
Results of work
CIR manages cooperation between faculties of KNEU and foreign universities. In this aspect we have the following partners:

Cracow University of Economics (http://nowa.uek.krakow.pl)
- KNEU faculty takes part in scientific conferences organized by Cracow University;
- faculties together prepared join Monograph «Convergence of Ukrainian and Polish economic models».

Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing (http://en.cufe.edu.cn/)
- faculties share the experience in banking and finance;
- the process of coming to an agreement between faculties about the topics and program of common research and future publications.

ICN Business School in Nancy, France (http://www.icn-groupe.fr/)
- teachers from France give lectures to students of Master’s training center ;
- students of MTC  receive the certification of master’s degree in business administration (MBA), that is given by The School of Management, related to Commercial Institute in Nansy

Phillips-University Marburg, Germany (http://www.uni-marburg.de)
- development and realization of the common project «Introduction of the financial controlling» for master’s program in specialty  «Finance».

University of Bremen, Germany (http://www.uni-bremen.de)
- KNEU works on the project of creation and use in educational process the program «МВА Logistics» for students of Master’s training centre;

CIR organizes holding of International Summer Universities for students:

Gazi University (Ankara, Turkey) (http://www.gazi.edu.tr/english.php)
- on the basis of KNEU (in Kyiv) during a month 11 students from Turkey and the coordinator study Ukrainian, become acquainted with culture and customs of the city and of the country;
- on the basis of University Gazi (in Ankara) during a month 11 Ukrainian students and the coordinator study Turkish, become acquainted with country’s culture and customs.
Host University provides accommodation, training, nutrition and cultural program.
For students of 2, 3 study year.
Payment: the cost of tickets.
Selection: is realized by coordinator of the program, appointed by KNEU, criteria: knowledge of English, time of selection: May, apply to CIR for prior registration.

Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (http://www.wu-wien.ac.at)
- on the basis of Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (in Vienna) during 3 weeks Ukrainian students (the quantity and conditions of selection are formed by Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration) study curriculum in English.
For students in 3,4 course.
Payment: from 490 to 2 290 euro.
Selection: is realized by Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

Erste Group Summer University Danubia (http://danunia.wu-wien.ac.at)

For students in 3,4 study year.
Payment: 200 euro and the cost of the tickets for Ukrainian students.
Selection: there are 2 stages: the first is realized by local coordinator according to entered documents, the second one is an interview with the representative of ERSTE Bank, that takes place approximately in April.

For students in 2-4 study year.
Payment: course fee: 980€; accommodation, meal subsidy and cultural program - 920€.
Selection: send all needed application documents and do the payments till June 01, 2010.

Summer Study Program in Nice Sofia-Antipolis University (France) http://portail.unice.fr/jahia/Jahia

For students in 1-3 study year.
Payment: course fee: 390-615€; accommodation and meal subsidy – 435-695€.
Selection: apply to CIR for prior registration.

CIR cooperates also with foreign universities so as to give the opportunity to students of KNEU, which are in 4 or 5 study year, to study abroad without a break in education. Students have the opportunity to receive the bachelor’s or master’s diploma, remaining the student of KNEU. The education is charged. Such kind of a program is possible now thanks to subscription of cooperation agreements with such universities as:

CIR supports the students, which participate in competitions to get scholarships for education in foreign universities. If the student received a scholarship for learning in the university and KNEU hasn’t a cooperation agreement with it, he must take a break in education.
