The Center of Postgraduate Studies (CPS) provides upgrading of qualification and training of specialists in the field of economics and entrepreneurship.

Applicants are admitted to the programs on a commercial basis. The Center has excellent material resources – audio and video recorders, and  computer classes with access to the Internet.

The students of the Center are historically middle managers, economists and business teachers from different education institutions, colleges and technical schools.

To apply for the courses in accounting, students are not required to have a diploma of higher educational establishment; they will be admitted if they produce a high school diploma or a college diploma.

The key directions of upgrading the qualification are as follows:
- Training of graduates – (full time – 1 year, part-time – 2 years) in the following specialization: Economy of Enterprises, Accounting and Auditing, Finance, Marketing, Personnel Management and Labour Economy:
- Upgrading of business teachers from higher and high educational institutions in the following specialization: Economy of Enterprises, Finance, Accounting and Auditing, International Economics, International Finance, Economic Theory, Banking, Management of Organizations and Economic Statistics. Term of study: full time – 2,5 weeks;
- Upgrading of economists in present-day problems of economy, entrepreneurship and management at the request of enterprises, business organizations and institutions. Term of study: full time and part-time programs - from 2,5 weeks to 3 months;
- Language courses. Term of study: part-time 1 year (4 hours twice a week);
- Courses in Accounting and Auditing including computer training. Term of study: part-time – 3,5 months (4 hours two times a week).

Seminars on the following subjects:
- Reformation of the System of Accounting in Ukraine on the Basis of National Standards;
- Technology of Small Business Organization and Directions of Efficiency Increase;
- Business Risks and Competitiveness in the Business World;
- Tax Legislation of Ukraine and its application in the activity of the business organizations. Term of study: full-time – 3 days (26 hours).

Teaching courses:
- Modern Teaching Technologies of Business management;
- Methods of Teaching Economics. Term of study – full time - 2 weeks, part-time – 2 months (3 times a week from 18.00 till 21.00).
In accordance with the agreement between the Center and the School of English all the students wishing to improve their English can complete their internship in Great Britain (Gasting).
